Dan is (MSS Med-Surg Travel Nurse) currently on his SECOND assignment in Hawaii! Pictured above are Linda Hutson, our District Manager for our Hilo, Hawaii workstation. We would like to take a moment to Welcome Dan back and congratulate him on his success! Dan is an excellent Nurse and has a wonderful and pleasant personality. Dan has enjoyed Kayaking and snorkeling at Captain Cook Monument in Hawaii on his first assignment.
“Where are you from?”
Dan:”I am originally from Akron, Ohio but I do not know Lebron James!”
*Chuckles*
“What University Did you Attend?”
Dan:”I graduated from Akron Institute of Herzing University with an ADN. I am currently attending Western Governors University for my BSN.”
“It feels good to be back at MSS. I took an assignment with another agency after my first contract ended. I can’t say anything other than, when the second opportunity with MSS was presented, I knew MSS was going to take care of EVERYTHING for me.”
“What were your first positions as an RN?”
Dan: “My first jobs as an RN were at 2 nursing homes. I was hired at both at the same time. I worked with dementia patients at one and psych patients at the other.”
“Would you like to share anything about your family?
Dan: “I have been married for almost 9 years and we have 3 beautiful kids ages 6, 2 and 10 months. My family came with me to Hawaii for my first assignment. What an awesome experience we had exploring the island!”
“Any areas you would like to expand your experience in?”
Dan:”I would like to get experience in the OR and OB. My career goal is to become a family nurse practitioner/nurse midhusband….a one stop shop!”
